"I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into Rewired* for the first time. Honestly, I was nervous. I had questions about God—real ones—and I wasn’t sure how they’d be received. Part of me wondered if I’d feel out of place or get hit with answers that didn’t actually connect with where I was at.
The content itself was… fine I guess. It wasn’t mind-blowing or anything, but it gave a helpful starting point.
What really stood out to me, though, was the space they created. I didn’t feel rushed or shut down. I was actually given time to ask my questions—without pressure, without awkwardness. That mattered more than I expected. Even more tha
n that, I met other people who were in a similar place. That surprised me. I thought I’d be the only one unsure or figuring things out, but I wasn’t. There was something really grounding about being around others who were also asking honest questions about life and faith.
The food was pretty average, if I’m being honest—but the way it was given wasn’t. There was a kind of generosity behind it that felt different. I’m used to a world that’s pretty “take, take, take,” so experiencing people just giving, no strings attached, was actually pretty powerful.
I’d recommend giving Rewired a go. It’s free, there’s no pressure, and no hidden agenda (except telling us about God, but it was a church and that's why I turned up). City North Church seems to be a place to explore, ask questions, and meet people who are on a similar journey."
Rewired is a 4 week course designed by City North Church to give you a chance to hear what the bible is all about.
